I made this piece for my nephew Enzo on the occasion of his first birthday to celebrate that he is part of this world. It is called Small Wheel of Life. The fetishes are of animals carved from bone by native peoples of the South-West U.S. They represent our connection to the natural world. The center of the piece is a flower carved out of a sea shell, representing the unfolding of life in all of its beauty and all of its potential.
